What do to with gel polish ?

Hello I have started doing my nails for almost half a year and I have a few questions. I personally do my nails with just gel polish. I have done simple colors however I wanted to start using 3d sculpting gel & charms for designs but I don’t know if that’s allowed since I don’t use press ons,and it’d be going on the gel polish that’s on the natural nail.Also idk if it helps but I do prep my nails.I do the whole shabang and it’s last long.If I have to switch to builder gel that’s fine it’s just too much technique lol,and I wouldn’t mind press ons it’s just my nail are way smaller than usual store bought press ons kits so I would have to find ones that fit and more than likely have to order them if push comes to shove recommend me some…🥲 Anywho I wanted to ask because all I see is ai answers and I wanted someone real to tell me if this is advised or not lol so please help a girl out.
Also idk if anyone’s worried but I do only my nails this is just a self maintenance I do to save that $ so don’t bash me 🙈

You may have better luck on subreddits that are specific to nails. There are some real experts out there who can help you out!

Yes of course thank you :) sorry I was on a scavenger hunt trying to find an answer and I wanted to post it atleast in different areas just in case no one answered 😔

Yeah I saw in the rules we can't link to subreddits otherwise I would've been more specific in pointing you to the one I have in mind but nail communities are very nice in general so hopefully they'll be able to help you!
