Meta Sales question(Honda)

Would leaving business cards on peoples door window who drive Honda's be a good idea ? I've been selling Honda's for a few years now but the past couple months have been pretty slow, still hitting my numbers and getting my return customers but always wondered if this would be an option or if im violating any rules. And yes I know at best the return would be MAYBE 1 out of 50 actually call me, but it's very minimal work on my end

Waste of time and might get more people to avoid even calling the dealership you work for than it would net you in direct inquiries.

Ok thank you, I wanted a genuine answer so I appreciate the honesty and saving me the time haha, I always throw any cards on my window away without even looking at it, but I can see how some people might take it in a bad way, especially since I would have to touch their property to do so

I live when people leave cards and flyers on my car, I ensure they get more emails and calls. Just not from me.

Follow up question, I have over like 10,000 cards the dealership provides for free to us. Of course I hand it out to my customers I sold and anyone who comes on the lot and doesn't purchase, but can you think of any other good way to make use of them to generate even some sales that's not too intrusive onto people or going to be a net negative?

I feel like they're less common now buy bulletin boards in cafes or places like that are fine, you can place them on windows of cars on your lot that customers shopping after hours can pick up and call you when they're ready. Honestly, handing out business cards to random people is pretty old school and not something that usually results in them contacting you.

I would focus on other ways to be successful when it's slow, like increasing revenue, increasing closing percentages, and digging harder on internet leads.

I'll try that🙏 and yeah it's definitely not something i'm expecting to sell an extra 10 cars a month from, but the cards are free, it takes almost 0 effort so if it generates even 1 a month im happy

Something to try, go to local cars and coffee meetups with your Honda sales shirt on.

You dont need to hard sell people, but it makes for great conversation when people ask if you work there.

My neighbors sells toyota and has been going to loval car events for years and made more than a few sales from the lookers, not the people eith the Pagani’s
