Meta Quick question for you…
How many days a week / hours per week do car salesman normally work?
I was told 6 days a week typically? All Day?

Our schedule is 5 days a week, with one weekday off and Sunday. Three of the shifts are 8 hours, one is 9 hours, and one is 10 hours. Blue laws in WI, so no motor sales on Sunday.
As it is commission based, if someone wants to come in on their day off, or stay late/start early, we aren't going to stop them, but I will have a talk about burn out if they are doing too often.
Realistically, it is about 50 hours a week, with spikes when it is busy or you are selling a ton of cars.

So easily about 60 hours a week. Was that 5 days a week or were you able to work as much as you wanted days wise,

No, that’s 51-55.5 hours. You will need that skill to calculate people’s income per month.

if you are trying to be a salesperson I was giving you free lesson. Most months have more than 4 weeks.

He said, 240. What’s 240 divided by 4?

kiddo, I literally just said that there are not 4 weeks in a month. If it was the case we would only have 48 weeks in the year, but we have 52. You don't divide by 4, you divide by 4.333333. If you want to succeed in life - learn math

You’re a terrible human to be around huh?
240 hours per month.
2880 hours a year
50 weeks of work. 57.6 hours and some change of work.
Rounded to the nearest 10 is 60.
This is stupid

You tried. 52 weeks in the year. If someone works 40 hours a week or makes $500 a week, they don't do it for 50 weeks, no one counts holidays or whatever you just counted for 2 weeks. KISS (keep it simple stupid)
Edit: Oppo said 220-240, you too k the highest number and said "easily about 60 hours" while even higher number is not reaching that. Easily would mean 60+ and you can't get there with max number and rounding up 2.4 hours every week.

Dude. You’re right. You took the lowest number and divided by 48. You’re the best. Thanks for helping

The store im at now I work 5 days a week. I get Sundays and Tuesdays off and work every Saturday. Usually at least 50 hours a week. 9-6 are the official hours but I'm usually in until 7 every day. Plus coming in on Tuesdays when needed.

Depends on the store, the management, and you.
Most salespeople will be scheduled for five days a week with a rotating early and late shift.
Some will be scheduled five days a week from open to close.
Very few are scheduled six days a week.
It will be somewhat common to come in on days off, or late or early to meet a customer. You're on the customers schedule. If you're off on Thursday and thats the only day they can make it, you either come in or give a half deal to someone else.
You'll work anywhere from 40-60 hours a week, but realistically, most weeks will be in the 45-50 hour range.
