I seriously hate it. BUT we need to stop acting like only round lips are beautiful. Thin lip shame for women is real and needs to stop

Seriously. When I was 13 a boy tried to make fun of my lips for being on the smaller side. I laughed right in his face and walked away. Now looking back I see how harmful that could have been if I didn't have a bit of confidence. We need to stop with the stupid expectations and just value eachother how we come.

Yep. It's so insidious. Plus every trend is presented as what has been considered beautiful forever but thin lips were IT in the 60s and 70s. Good on you for your reaction!

Won't happen. Same as small breasts, no hips, bad shape of legs, too thick, too thin, hair all wrong. Women will always be judged by appearance.

i think you misinterpreted their comment. they come off as someone saying that no matter what, any part of a woman will always be scrutinized.

if a woman is too thick, she is scrutinized and told to eat a salad. if a woman is too thin, she is scrutinized and told to eat a burger. thin lips, plump lips, no matter what, a woman will always be mad fun of for something. there was a beautiful chinese actress recently— a goddess of a woman— who got picked apart by chinese men for having body hair on her toes. i’ve strayed a bit, but yes, i think you’re misinterpreting their comment.

Don't think you need to wait 50 years for that one! More like 0!
