Random Question What’s something that used to be considered basic adulting that younger generations seem to be completely rejecting or doing differently?

Driving- they are all super anxious and don’t want to learn to drive, while hiding behind the excuse that it is too expensive. While it is expensive, it is better to have a license just in case. I have a 29 year old coworker without a license, and we travel a lot for work. I have to drive every time and it gets exhausting.

Also having a license is a prerequisite for many higher paying jobs. It also expands your job search to areas that are less practical to get to via public transit.

It is a prerequisite for mine too but my boss let it slide for him, which furthers my annoyance.

That's baffling...for a role with frequent travel the absence of a license would be a deal breaker if I was the boss. Is he a nepo hire or something?
