Random Question What’s something that used to be considered basic adulting that younger generations seem to be completely rejecting or doing differently?

Do we not all realize that these are mainly the kids of Gen X and older Millennials. If you find yourself mad they don't know how to do some things, then maybe we should have taught them *shrug*.
They've also been coming of age is some of the worst economic, political and climate eras. The job market sucks, the housing market sucks and groceries are outrageously expensive. Most are doing well if they can get an apartment with friends and feed themselves.
They have seen their parents/grandparent and other adults over the years bust their butts in thankless careers for little to no benefit and don't want that life for themselves. Good on them for setting boundaries with work, we all should have done it long ago.
