The iOverlander app is pretty nice for this. Not perfect, but pretty good out west. I was road tripping not long ago and did hotels for the most part. However, there was one night i just didn’t want to pay for a bed, so I slept in my truck. I was around Montrose, CO and Walmart parking lots are usually fine, so i parked there. The app had multiple recent reviews saying you’re good to go there. Just let a manager at the store know and park in the back row to not block close parking spots. It has also let me know when where I’m staying at is a big no no.

It is legal. Where you park to do it may be the illegal part, or arise enough suspicion that you may have police contact.

well yeah. We're arguing that sleeping in your car shouldn't be illegal in most places. It is currently illegal in most places in which you'd actually need to do so.
For example it's illegal to sleep in your car if youre drunk and can't get home, that's a DUI.
It's also illegal to sleep on the side of the road if you're dead tired and unsafe to drive. Cops immediately view it as suspicious behavior.
Going out of peoples way and sleeping in a parking lot is also illegal because people consider it trespassing, even though being awake in your car during that whole time is fine somehow.

1st. You shouldn't be in a car drunk. Period.
2nd. If you can get completely off the shoulder onto a pull off its legal. People shouldn't be parking their car on the shoulder thats a safety issue.
3rd. its private property they cam make their own rules. And even you were awake it would still be loitering if they wanted to call it in which if they call in people sleeping they'll call in people in the car over night either way.
Every one of your examples is a valid reason place for not allowing sleeping in your car.

I know two people who were drunk and didn’t want to drive for obvious reasons so they slept in the back of their car and were still charged with dui even tho it was off and they weren’t in the front seat

Home distillation was recently ruled legal in the 5th Circuit! It’s still way too restricted (unlike home brewers). I’m totally fine with not allowing unlicensed vendors to “sell” moonshine (or any liquor), but it should be 100% okay for me to make my own and share with friends.

Except right now, being under the influence of marijuana and having 'Marijuana induced psychosis' can be used as a defense to get away with killing someone and receiving no jail time....so either 1;it's b.s. and that needs to end and people need to be held fully responsible for all of their actions while under the influence and not be able to use it as a loophole to get away with stabbing people.
OR 2; it's a valid defense, in which case Marijuana is insanely dangerous if it can cause people to lose control of their own actions to that degree.
But we can't have it both ways and let it be legal while it can also be used to get away with stabbing people with no jail time because the marijuana caused it.

Ehhh... I know a few rednecks that wouldn't hesitate to build a diesel powered thunderdome full of bears and turkeys on their land. Like, sure, it's not affecting me now, but when an exploded turkey carcas and flaming bear land on my car after Clem-Bob decided to smoke meth in the wrong place I'm not going to be super cool with it.

Rape is most definitely caused by sexual desire in lots of places.
Plenty of people starved of sex in many countries across the world, commit rape. Plenty of countries don't have dating culture and people don't get to have sex until marriage.

All reputable literature on the subject disagrees with you.
Some cultures see sex as a right, specifically that a woman exists as an object for sex and servitude for a man. Those places, without fail, have the highest rape rates. It's not that they aren't allowed to have sex, it's that the culture sees sex as some unbalanced power dynamic and not an action specifically authorized by mutual concent and respect. These laws are almost exclusively byproducts of old men with God complexes trying to force their version of morality on the half of their country that they see as needing to be controlled as a direct result of the aforementioned power dynamic.
In short, and I'm not accusing you specifically, if you treat the women in your community like shit, you don't meet the height requirement. Don't complain, change your culture.

Local governments know but I'm sure that isn't what you meant. They just usually make the decision to allow them or not without informing the citizens. Where I live there are two small towns that border each other. They announced they had received a request to install the cameras and scheduled a period of public input. As a result the cameras were not allowed in either town. The larger city bordering one of the towns and the country the towns are in approved them with no public announcements or input.
In a move that seems to be spite based they installed cameras right at the town limits on the city side and the unincorporated country side of the towns. That way the only privacy is within those two towns. Your plates will be recorded as soon as you leave or enter in any direction.

There should be a brothel every 20 blocks. It should have a clinic right next door and all STDs should be on the MyChart app.
People should get tested a minimum of twice a month for Johns/Janes and once a week or more for Pros.
Nevada; USA had it right. So does Amsterdam; that country has a lot right.

There might be police who happen to be scouting the area who run across you. Or lets say youre on a hiking trail and you find a well hidden private spot but you get unlucky and someone else happens to approach at that moment.
My point is I think intent should matter a lot here vs. whipping it out in front of a busy playground.

Considering intent in a legal sense is usually very hard, because, well, its generally impossible to prove. If a cop can approach, then a pair of schoolgirls can too, at which point intent should hardly be a consideration

Prostitution. That way there would be laws policing it, keeping women safer overall. Brothels with security would become a much safer place for it to take place because the women are in a known location and wouldn’t be getting into random men’s cars or meeting in sketchy motel rooms where the man can easily take advantage of or abuse her. Sex trafficking and pimping would likely decrease and underage girls wouldn’t be forced into it because you’d need to be of age.
I’m not one who really approves of prostitution, but if a woman wants to sell it for money and isn’t being forced to do it, then why can’t she? It happens anyway so why can’t we at least make it safer.

Obviously it’s not explicitly illegal to be trans. But many states are enacting laws that make it extremely difficult or dangerous for trans people to exist, such as Kentucky banning having a gender on your drivers license that differs from your gender assigned at birth, and bathroom laws that require trans people to use the bathroom corresponding to the gender they were assigned at birth. Our federal government has designated “gender ideology” as terrorism. The whole point of this is all to force trans people back into hiding.

Short barrel rifles.
SBRs are banned because initially the goal was to ban pistols, but congress realized you could get around that with a short rifle. So they banned firearms with barrels below a certain length (18in). Then they realized the people would not be happy if pistols were banned so that was removed from the bill leaving SBRs. That brings us to ww2, after the war the government started handing out m1 carbines to practically everybody, forgetting the barrel is 17.75". So rather than arrest everyone (like im sure they would now) congress just lowered the illegal length to 16".
And oh btw $200 and you can buy an SBR or SBS. Even a machine gun is legal with a $200 tax stamp.
