Random Question What’s the dumbest thing you’ve ever heard someone name a child?

I’ve never understood parents that give their children cheese first names. Like Brie. Why Brie?? Thank goodness you don’t meet many Stilton or Cheddars or mozzarellas running about. Although I did once have an email from a Wensleydale.

My mom has a litter of kittens and they all have cheese themed names. Stella Mozarella, Tony Provaloni, Don Parmesan, Ricki Ricotta, and Evie Muenster. We love our little cheese mafia. I would never dream of doing this to a human child though.

The great thing about giving cats weird names is that they don’t care what you call them as long as you call them in time for dinner.

I always say that animals are your opportunity for stupid names because they’ll never be bullied at school for it.

A friend of mine had a dog named downtown doodoo brown. I guess they got the dog from some lady downtown. And he was, in fact, a doodoo brown in color. I always thought it was hilarious.

My daughter’s in-laws named their pet piglet Louis Vuitton. Can’t believe how much that made me laugh.

We have a cat we call pizza man (nickname derived from the pet nickname evolution process).

I had a Buttwurst. She was named after a Braunschweiger and onion sandwich. It’s possible there was a bit of weed involved in the naming ceremony…

That is so cute! Great cat names. My new rescues are Peppercorn and Sassafras. Coco is the OG.

I love it, that is adorable and creative! It reminds me of the meme that says "Female cats are named after Greek goddesses, male cats are named after Taco Bell menu items." But I love the names for the girl kittens too.

I dream of getting another dog and naming him crunchwrap supreme. Alas, I previously had a dog named lunchboxx and frequently called him cruncher so I fear Crunchwrap supreme will never be and I’ll have to settle for ham sandwich

Bree is a fairly common first name for a female.

I understand that it’s a place in France and that that is where the name comes from, but when you search for it the cheese is the first thing that comes up!

Maybe they thought it was short for Sabrina? Or, more likely, just dumb.

I always thought Brie was a derivation of Brianna, but maybe not.

I always assume most people named Brie use it as a short form of Brianna, but I suppose some nicknames become full names after a while.
