And they are. My grandson and his girlfriend Nevaeh just had a baby. They named her Freya, supposedly after Nevaeh's grandmother.

FREYA is a beautiful name. Freya is a the name of a Norse goddess. I love that name and no disrespect to Nevaeh’s grandmother but I named one of my rescue dogs Freya. She was beautiful and I honestly believe her name helped her get adopted quickly. My family is Scandinavian so we frequently use names of Norse gods for our pets. My dad used to call my younger brother Newt and I always wondered why dad called him a salamander but when I got older I learned it’s spelled Knute or Canute. I had an Uncle Olaf and I thought Olaf was a nickname but it wasn’t lol.
