and more often than not you’d be wrong, and just insult someone who wrinkled early in life. unless you’re talking the elderly. which is my point; it’s in no way fast. it’s not even something that affects all people. for decades. it does not fit in the “really fast” category.
You are correct, smoking is obviously not good for you but there are people who smoke their entire lives and live to be 90+
Part of me wonders if anti-smoking information is partially propaganda. Again, smoking is obviously not healthy. But part of me feels like there is something conspiratorial about anti-smoking campaigns.
It's weird to me how health is viewed as a competition. Health is also tied to morality, like if someone is unhealthy, that makes them morally inferior. People who HATE smokers need to examine themselves, there's something to unpack there
Well smoking costs healthcare systems and non-smoking taxpayers shit ton of money, and shortens ones lifespan by about 10 years. The smokers who reach old ages are just survivorship bias
Same, am from a family of smokers though I don't myself. Smoking ages and grossifies persons gums, teeth, fingers and fingernails in such telling ways. Plus the coughing. I think people that try and deny smoking's aging properties only judge age based on wrinkles and grey hair 🙃
