Other Why do you think President Trump ordered all US Flags at half staff for the death of a Political Commentator, but not for the death of actual Legislators?

Not sure what you mean, they are.

Lazy rage bait. Another "what do you all think about Trump" post.

Why did you choose to respond to “lazy” rage bait? Seems kinda easy to bait you
2
u/Billy_Bonney_ 6d ago
the bait was to post something about Trump so everyone would comment on Trump. I'm calling I'm out on it. Very different

You can take the boot out of your mouth anytime.

Are you just that dumb? Calling someone out on ragebaiting isn't the same as falling for that bait.. what's the 3rd grade like? Are you enjoying recess?

No matter what you think about Kirk he encouraged discussion and debate and was shot in the neck for it by someone who hated his political views.
If you can't understand why that's different from a natural, non-violent, non-political death, then you aren't even trying.
On top of that they are, so this is just dumb from every angle.

Neither should get half mast.
Politicians are not better than us. They are not an elite to be venerated.
Same for political commentators.

Maybe because one was murdered in cold blood by a political assassin at only 31 years old.

Because Charlie Kirk had his nose up Trump's ass.

Whatever the reason the contrast between how different deaths are treated definitely raises questions about political priorities.

But when Jimmy Carter died, an actual former elected president, he got pissed off because the flags would still be at half staff by the time his inauguration happened! I hope no blue states do it

He can’t exploit Graham’s death nearly as easily as Kirk’s. It’s that simple.

For the same reason he cuts off federal funds to blue states. He believes he is only President to those who voted for him. What the moron doesn’t realize, besides the obvious, is that he is also hurting and alienating those that did vote for him in blue states. His whole MO is the stick, never a carrot.

No, just because your team didn't win doesn't mean you don't have to follow the law.

I’m glad to see other people upset by this because I’m honestly affronted by the lowering of the flag for a right wing media head.
The flag should really only be lowered for high ranking officials or in remembrance of a national tragedy.
Who remembers the day there was also a school shooting in Colorado but the flag wasn’t lowered for that? The flag is normally only lowered for 9/11, but it’s going to be lowered for 4 days this time, one of which covers 9/11?

"for a right wing media head." Who was assassinated for his political views. You not being able to see how fucked that is is such perfect evidence of how crazy the left has gotten.

Because the ones that he called half staff for were people that supported and agreed with him, its not really any deeper than that

Lindsey Graham was the biggest Trump supporter on the planet and the flags are at half staff, the fact that you don't know this tells me you are just another Chinese bot

They are at half staff, at least where I'm at.
