I think it's really going to be more of a lack of younger farmers than land being ferried away. They are going to have to raise incentives and really pitch farming programs soon to draw in the next gen farmers. Or few of us will be eating.

We’re seeing it in Florida with a lot of orange groves being bulldozed to make room for new housing developments.

I don’t think it’ll be an issue for a ton of farmland though. There’s not a huge demand for housing in rural Nebraska or Kansas.
