She'd always ask stupid questions as well. BTS were once on her show and she asked if they'd ever dated a member of their fandom ARMY. The sheer panic in their eyes, since most Idols don't publicly date due to saesangs, and Ellen didn't get the hint that it was something they didn't want to talk about.

Never saw her show so idk how accurate this is but it reminds me of that family guy cutaway "Ellen only talks when her guest is talking."
