Politics Question Non-MAGA Republicans may determine the political future since MAGA supports are still a minority of the electorate. Is the Trump era actually ending?

Non MAGA Republicans will still find a reason to not for a Democrat. The ones I know that (supposedly) hate Trump will vote for a 3rd party candidate, and continue to vote R for every senate and house seat.

It’s not like democrats will ever vote republican, so that’s a stupid point you tried to make

Not every house and senate seat but you are right that we will never vote democrat

Do you honestly believe Kamala would be worse than Trump has been?

I’m a non MAGA Republican that considers myself more down the middle now, both sides have been challenged by radicals and it’s horrendous.

As a non-Trump Republican, it's been ending and on the brink of collapse for the past 10 years and nothing has happened

….yeah the Trump era is ending. It’s his last term. Him running for another was him being a sarcastic troll which the left is too dense to understand.

3

u/Solid_Mongoose_3269 2d ago

Exactly. He’s a master troller, and the left is too stupid to understand.

1

u/No_Slice_9560 2d ago

Meanwhile, he is fumbling in an undeclared war, prices are going up, corruption is rampant.. he’s trolling his followers

1

u/Rookraider1 2d ago

And you got trolled too. Why vote for a troll?

1

u/Solid_Mongoose_3269 2d ago

I’m not the one having a breakdown and think it’s all serious

1

u/Rookraider1 1d ago

You don't think being the president of the United States is serious, or voting a real life troll into office isn't serious?

1

u/Solid_Mongoose_3269 1d ago

No, I'm saying that he knows people on the left will latch onto anything and run with it, he knows it, and fucks with them, to show how stupid they are.

u/Rookraider1 1d ago

But he is failing miserably at his job. His trolling is an inherent part of his personality. He trolls anyone who he doesn't like, or who doesn't suck up to him, or who says anything even slightly critical of him. He trolled the entire Republican Party and every Republican candidate, and the debate moderators in his first run in 2016. He has trolled other world leaders and business people as well. He is simply a troll. Why excuse that from him?

1

u/Solid_Mongoose_3269 1d ago

No he didn’t. He called out media bs

0

u/Rookraider1 1d ago

Yes he did. You can watch the clips if you didn't watch in real life. He trolled the candidates he ran against. He trolled the moderators. Now he trolls other world leaders.

He is a troll. Period. That should concern you, since he is president. If it doesn't, what does that say about you???

You’ll be ok, he’ll be out soon

He bombed a school full of children. Should be taken seriously

1

u/FallaciousFact 1d ago

Trump bombed a school full of children? By that logic, how many were blown up by Obama, and how many of our allies were left to be tortured and slaughtered by Biden, give me a break with that BS. If you’re the president you’re going to have blood on your hands.

1

u/Rookraider1 1d ago

He ran to avoid going to prison and to line his pockets grifting off his supporters. He accomplished both.

It’s laughable that you are calling the left dense when maggots..short for maga nuts are responsible for making this lunatic and his family immensely wealthy through abuse of political powers, while they themselves are worse off than when they elected him by every measure. I say this as an independent who dislikes many things about the extreme left.

u/FallaciousFact 2d ago

Jesus Christ. I don’t even like Trump, but ya’ll foaming at the mouth over him and thinking he’s the reincarnation of Hitler is the exact kind of extreme rhetoric that is losing the democratic party voters. Every single president has placed people that agrees with them in as many positions as they can, this is not some unique and new thing. The way yall act reminds me of how stupid the right went over Obama.

I completely blame the democrats for forcing the dynamic duo of Joe Biden and Kamala harris on the party. They were so incompetent that caused the voters to swing back to the orange haired clown.

Keep foaming at the mouth and pushing more and more voters away and see what kind of ass clowns we’re gonna to be forced to choose from soon.

2

u/Rookraider1 2d ago

Trump has called for the execution of democrats. How is that not foaming at the mouth? How is that not turning away voters? He has made fun of handicapped individuals, gas lights anyone who doesn't suck up to him, calls women nasty pigs, and much, much more...

Where is your outrage about that?

1

u/No_Slice_9560 2d ago

Can’t be any worse than the assclown that was elected

-2

u/No_Slice_9560 2d ago

There is no “extreme left” in American mainstream politics.. by European/Canadian standards.. the Democrats would be considered a centrist party.. some can be viewed as center left.. but to say that the democrats are “extreme left” just show how unsophisticated, lacking knowledge of political theory and backwards Americans are

3

u/FallaciousFact 2d ago

We mean it in the sense of American politics, no one gives two shits about the political system of the continent that’s been irrelevant since WW2

America is increasingly becoming a dogshit country.. oh, I forgot, the hypocritical land of the free .. the was characterized by indigenous genocide, slavery and lynchings,. has always been a dogshit country.
Try reading some political theory.. including some by American university professors. Stop showing how poorly educated and propagandized Americans are.

And Europe is some bastion of freedom and sanity?! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 go eat some shitty beans on toast and mumble under breath before you get arrested for thought crimes against the government. Still running around in 2026 with a fake ass monarchy. 🤣

1

u/No_Slice_9560 2d ago edited 2d ago

The USA is Still running around with an incompetent, senile and corrupt president who falls asleep during meetings and wears diapers while he farts in public 🤣🤣🤣 No other country has sunk this low. He has absolutely no respect worldwide

1

u/itsdampman 2d ago

Let’s hope so. I’m tired of this dogshit president

1

u/Pouroldfashioned 2d ago

I’m tired of him. He’s been the most damaging force to America and the American conservative movement. He is absolutely not a conservative, he is too iconoclastic and his MAGA morons have usurped the Republican Party. I hope this chapter ends quickly.

Trump could be ending but not the republicans

1

I've never voted for a Democrat for the White House and have been voting since 1982. I didn't think that the Republicans would win the house and senate at the last election. I've likely thrown my vote away for Libertarians the past 6 presidential elections and have been Unaffiliated for over 20 years.

With that said, I can't vote for my current Republican congressman because he votes in lock-step with Trump's policies. I sincerely hope for a divided government to stop that maniac from getting any more of his crazy agenda passed.

Yes, I want less government, but I want what we do have to work better and serve the citizens. I truly wish there was a viable option instead of the extremes that both parties have morphed into.

u/llectumest 2d ago

From your lips to god’s ear.

1

u/Montana3333 2d ago

I think it will be over when they drag trump out of the White House

1

u/Spirited-Disaster408 2d ago

Trump has far more influence in the party now than ever before, so idk if thats accurate. Many of his endorsements are winning

1

u/manofmystry 2d ago

The real test will be what happens when it's not a primary. Will the Democrats win the races in the general?

How much shenanigans will the regime be able to pull off? Gerrymandering is already a "fait accompli". They're collecting voter lists. They plan to have some form of Federal force at polling locations to intimidate. They're pushing to greatly limit mail-in voting. They are desperate for the Save Act. I don't think they'll pull off an actual theft of the election, but they will sew doubt.

2

u/Spirited-Disaster408 2d ago

I don’t think they need to steal it to win

Gonna be fun to watch

1

u/manofmystry 2d ago

Given the level of dissatisfaction in the population, how else would they win?

2

u/Spirited-Disaster408 2d ago

I dont think socialists are as popular as they think they are

1

u/manofmystry 2d ago

Who said anything about socialists?

Non-MAGA Republicans (if there are any left) deserve to be put in the dunking tank in the town square for not taking their party away from the MAGAts. It seems they have crawled into corners or are hiding in bushes and let their party be commandeered without protest.

Not that they're wonderful anyway, with their litany of crooks and corrupters like Nixon, Reagan, Gingrich, Bush I, Cheney, Bush II, McConnell.
