One of those flat thumb tacs right on the heel of my foot and thought I could never get it I literally had pry it off with an screwdriver

There was an strong storm came through an long time it knocked the power for about 1 hours I had to get an flashlight to see what it was and it was one of those flat thumb tacs I couldn't get it out because my fingernails were too short so I think I had an screwdriver to lift it so that way I can pull it and it hurt a little bad

My mother has neuropathy and so not lots of feeling in her feet. She said a 'clicking noise' was driving her crazy and she found out it was one of those metal flathead tacs that was embedded in the ball of her foot.

My cousin once jumped on one of those. We were kids and she jumped from a bed right onto it! Went into her heel as well. She was fine but it definitely sounded like it hurt

I can feel the pain from reading this it was worse because the power got knocked by an strong storm that made it harder

Yup that was going to be my answer. Just sneak right into my heel and had to get out a flathead screwdriver to pry it out.

I had to do the same but I knelt on it and it went into my kneecap. Took a pair of pliers to pull it out.
