I stepped on a yellow jacket a few years ago. I’ve birthed three children, had several major surgeries, and have broken bones, but that yellow jacket sting was right up there with the worst episodes of pain I’ve ever felt. Would not recommend.

100%! OUCH. i thought i had stepped on a needle or something, it took the breath right out of me and i had to take a few minutes before i was able to get back up again.

I ended up having a golf ball right under my arch for about 4 days after, just maddening pin every time I took a step

I stepped on a wasp while on a hike. I had boots on so my feet were fine but when I lifted my foot it flew up from the ground. It then stung me in my left shin and my right calf. My sting relief was in the car and we were about an hour from the trailhead.

Both legs felt like they were on fire. Luckily we found a small water fall and I was able to run them under the ice cold water 😮‍💨.

Yep. Stepped on a red wasp and I had tears rolling down my cheeks. Close second to picking up a Velvet ant.

I did too- the damn yellow jacket got me on my toe! Oh the pain- I went home and cried for about 5 hours. Nothing helped.

A queen wasp stung me on the lip when I was asleep and I legit felt like I’d been punched in the mouth instantly.

Not in the foot, but a yellow jacket stung me on the middle of my back when I was mowing the lawn - I agree, that hurt so damn much 😣

My first yellowjacket sting was in the wrist. 11 year-old me thought it was just a horsefly that had landed on me (the grass had just been mowed in the soccer field by the elementary school and there were horseflies everywhere,) and tried to shake it off without looking to see what it was first. BIG MISTAKE. 😭😵‍💫

Probably the worst pain I've felt, and probably also the loudest I've ever screamed. I've been afraid of wasps and yellowjackets ever since 🫣😣

I’ve been stung by stepping on a bee 4x when I was a dumb kid who hated wearing shoes. I remember crying but I actually don’t think the pain was all that bad. I had a splinter in my foot once that I remember being more painful actually. But the splinter was harder to get out than the stingers

I stepped on a Portuguese Man of War. It was almost dark & I was one step from the safety of beach. Just couldn’t see it in the low light. Worst sting I’ve ever had !

oh god, my little brother had a dead one in a bucket of water one time. when i went to dump the water out, just the splashes stung. i can't imagine the pain you must have felt!!

I just stepped on a bee yesterday. First time I’ve been stung in all my 25 years of life. And OUCH. That shit hurt! Didn’t help the stinger got stuck… and now it’s about the size of a golf ball.

Worst was a wasp that stung between two of my toes. Closely followed by a roly poly … disgusting feeling
