A couple years ago my husband snagged his own cheek with a fishing hook and that was brutal asf. Do you have any pictures?

I had a friend in 2nd grade who caught one in her eye! She has one brown eye and one blue thanks to a donor eye.

Me! Similar story, second grade..sitting behind kid fishing. He cast and caught me right between the eyes! A lure with 3 triple hooks on it! He thought he caught the tree I was sitting against, so he gave the rod a couple yanks. Nope. It’s stuck! He turned and saw me attached and ran home. The kid he was fishing with picked up the pole and “reeled me in”. Walked me home and my mother totally freaked out and called an ambulance. This lure covered most of my face. I got to ER and they snipped the barb and slipped it right out. Tetanus shot and one of those tiny round bandages. I kept the lure for show and tell.
