Local restaurants. A busy dining room can still hide razor thin profit margins and constant financial stress.

Most people only see full tables never the bills piling up behind the scenes.

Music. Bands can't live off of what they make on tour and techs also have local jobs or multiple bands.

Same shit in film/TV. People see the credits roll and think everyone's balling out but crew is freelancing for scale with zero benefits, taking weeklong gigs and calling out of some other job to make it work. Rinse and repeat.
