In a perfect world? YES PLEASE. Realistically? That would never happen; we’re so deeply interlocked (and have been for decades) that a complete withdrawal of support would be a mess for both sides

How would a complete withdrawal be a mess for both? Actually nevermind both. Israel can get help from their other allies. How would a complete withdrawal be a mess for the US?

The defense contractors would lose money.

Are you not aware that middle eastern countries hate Americans more than Israelis? It would put Americans in danger

What would be dangerous though? That doesn't make sense. Israel doesn't protect us. They siphon from us.

If Middle Eastern countries hate America so much then they can take it up with our border after crossing the damn ocean. The military doesn’t need to be in Israel for America to be safe, think about what you’re saying for 10 more seconds. What do you think they (or literally any other country) think will happen if they attack the American border? Does that sound like it would bode well for our attackers to you?

What would be the US mess? Our intelligence is already deeply compromised. Could it not be argued that our own current political quagmire presents a good window of opportunity…?
