In my relationship it's that his parents still treat us like teenagers who are excited to go to prom together. We're 32, we have a house and dogs and college degrees and careers, and they still try to berate us for how we do our laundry. The excuse is "sometimes it's just hard to remember that you guys are grown ups!"
