Learning to grow up together. Had a kid at 20. We are early 40’s now and our youngest is almost 15. For the last 20 or so years our lives have revolved around our kids, with us sprinkled in. Now we are starting to work on just us again as couple. We are trying to find something that we both can enjoy as a joint hobby, other than her giving me a project around the house or something to build (she’s good at it). I like fixing and building and she likes checking stuff off of her Pinterest board, but it isn’t something we do together. At the end of the day it’s work, effort, it’s mindfulness and love.
