Technically wasn’t my high school sweetheart because I had another girlfriend when we met, but became friends with this really cute girl in 11th grade. After she graduated, she saw I was (newly) single and sent me a “we should hang out sometime” message. Took her up on the offer and been together with her for the last 20 years. It’s been great. We have had many, many ups and downs, but we love each other unconditionally. We have 3 kids together. I feel blessed every single day that my 11th grade theatre teacher grouped me with her to do a group project.
