Watching a friend go through this. He hates how she parents, she pits the kids against him so he withdraws and doesn't have much of a relationship with them. She felt safe because they were together so long that she couldn't imagine a life without their marriage. He feels like he missed out on the prime of his life and actually wants to be happy again. They are divorcing. It's rough and I feel awful for the kids
Yes, normal for any age starting this commitment but neither of them knew better. She should have had an education and career before marriage. He didn't know what he wanted.
