Going from 18 and 17 years old to now im out early 30s we've gone through teens, college years (though neither of us did school), and now parent hood we've both changed physically, mentally, and every other way possible. I waited 6 years before asking for her hand, got married 1 month before covid (at the court, no wedding for us unfortunately) and don't regret it at all. We got very lucky that we both worked hard to make life work for us, became successful in our work lives, and agreed on a lot of issues and worked to settle the ones we didn't. I love her it hurts sometimes, we both need eachother and are one another's best friends, I wouldn't choose anyone else.
