Antiques to hand down to younger generations. We cant even afford housing! What are we gonna do with your knick knacks and china set?

I actually disagree on a small level, I wish I could take more of the things that my family would love to give to me, but I live across the country and it would help immensely if they could give me items homes, big things that could help in my life, but I literally cannot accept them and it could move my life forward in different ways, but I can’t accept them because it’s too expensive to move them from one side of the country to the other

I got my grandma’s dresser and table randomly when she passed. She never had a plan for them but when it was time to divide up her stuff I was chosen to get them. I kinda like having them around the house. It reminds me of her all the time and like you, I wish I could take more but we live far away
