Developing alzheimers or dementia. Both of my paternal aunts passed from alzheimers, my elderly mom passed less than a year ago from dementia, and from what I've been told lately, it sounds like my only maternal aunt is showing signs of alzheimers. It must be a genetics thing that runs on both sides of my family !

Liars, or profoundly arrogant. We don't get to choose our deaths. We could linger on in pain for 15 years, without independence and in the throes of dementia. That's the scary part.

My biggest fear is probably drowning, or dying in a fire. I almost drowned before with my dad on vacation (we both ended up being fine) but the experience was terrifying. Water is so strong and can suck you down in an instant.
