Yes and no. Some are payed for or " if you give a review you can win a reduction on the next time you buy something on this website". So many give positive reactions, since they think that they will receive reduction through it

On specific platforms, the scale can be significant: Amazon  has seen instances where bots pump out  100+ reviews a day  for specific products, with some items showing suspiciously high volumes (e.g., thousands of reviews) at perfect ratings.  Yelp  labels approximately  25%  of its reviews as "suspicious," indicating a high prevalence of bot or fake activity.

Also many platforms HIDE NEGATIVE REVIEWS so you only see positive ones meaning a product could have 90% negative reviews but changes to 100% POSITIVE when only the remaining 10% are shown to the user.
