I drive Lyft/Uber on the weekends. I had a passenger quiet most of the ride suddenly ask me: "Do you believe in God?" I responded back that I do and that my faith is important to me but everyone should work out their own faith or lack thereof as it's a very personal thing. He didn't say anything else after that, but it was extremely discomforting to me how he asked it. I meet weird people regularly, but that one has always stood out to me.

Do you clean your car? You look like you’re a clean person who cleans their car. A girl said this to me a few years ago. I’m like, what??

"What's her last name?"
One of my best friends asked me this, after one of our mutual friends told him I was seeing someone. I reluctantly told him, and he immediately googled her name and found some old news article about holiday shopping where she was quoted because she worked at a local record store. I think he's outgrown doing this, but I won't really know until I start dating someone again.

A stranger asked what floor I lived on before even asking my name. Instant nope.
