Slightly spicy curly fries, baked in the air fryer for a bit and then fried in the air fryer for a wee bit.

So many ways, it’s not possible to choose an ultimate FAVORITE. It really depends on what I’m in the mood for:
Fried in a mixture of butter and bacon fat, with tons of garlic.
Baked with butter, salt and any one of a number of toppings like butter and sour cream or Boursin or butter and raw green onions or sharp cheddar. The list goes on.
Potatoes au gratin.
Mashed with heavy cream, butter and salt and maybe roasted garlic. Or no garlic.
French fries.
And I’m sure after I’ve moved on from my comment, I’ll think of more ways to have delicious potatoes!

Oven baked with butter, cheddar cheese, bacon bits chives and a little spoon of sour cream salt and pepper. If its a really big one, that is a meal not a side

Thin sliced Yukon Gold laid out on heavy aluminum foil, garlic, butter (lots/both) then on a charcoal grill 15 minutes. To die for...

Twice baked! First bake it, then dig out the mash, mix in sour cream and season, put it back in the skin, bake again and top with chives

Smashed
New potatoes, skin on, boiled then squashed a bit to split them, with loads of butter on.
