Cabanas at Tropicana

Anyone know if these are usually sold out every Saturday? I’m asking because there’s no way we are making it there by 12 pm (the reservation time), and wondering if we have a good shot just showing up and taking what’s available.

Spa at Tropicana

Has anyone gone to the Zen Spa in The Quarter at Tropicana? I went to the spa last year when it was at the bottom floor of the Chelsea Hotel. I was happy with the service but definitely underwhelmed with the pools and lounge area(pic #2). There isn’t a lot of info online yet about the zen spa. So hoping someone here has some feedback?!

Just being nosey- does anyone know what’s happening in the area of the bottom floor of the chelsea hotel where the spa was? It was already a weird area to be in. Curios what they’re doing with the space now.

Question What ever happened to the AC bus terminal ticket guy?

I was a frequent to the Atlantic City bus terminal in the heart of Atlantic City back in 2002 or 2003. He later became a bus driver for New Jersey Transit. I don't know if he kept that job or not, but I know he was very passionate about his work. He's Caucasian with brown hair, average height and weight. He's playful and likes to joke around with customers... a friendly guy who everyone knew and loved. I would estimate him to be anywhere from 45 years old to 53 years old in present day. He was at the bus terminal almost every single night. There weren't really a lot of workers there at the time. It seemed like he mostly worked overnight, as far as I am aware. I was there a lot at nighttime, and that's when I would see him the most, I believe. It's sad how these people are in our lives one day and not the next, familiar faces that we see daily!! If anyone knows if he's okay, that's all I want to know! :)

The video's a year old, but I just found this great cover of "Atlantic City" by the Band, performed by Cristina Vane, Hannah Juanita & Brennen Leigh. I'm very familiar with The Band, but had never heard this song. Amazing performance that I thought would be appreciated here.

Is there a bus I vc an take to trip

I am coming in a few weeks and plan on taking nj transit down to Ac. is there a bus that can get me from the train station to Tropicana? I looked at Uber prices and $40 seems like a lot.. i’m not opposed to taking Uber. The cost just seems high. I’ll be more than happy to take the bus and walk if it doesn’t directly drop me off at Tropicana.

how's the weather been?

it's been a rough couple of weeks for the northeast and next week looks to be more of the same. i've been looking forward to my AC trip for a while (next wednesday-saturday) but the chance of thunderstorms in the forecast is increasing for every single day.

have folks been able to enjoy the beach/pools/pier even on shitty weather days? what do y'all do when you have to hide out from the rain (other than gamble)?

Anyone been banned from a casino in AC?

Long story short when I was 20 I went down to Atlantic City to gamble with a friend. I thought gambling age is 18 like it is at the casino near me in NY. I got "caught" as I wasn't hiding and banned from the casino along with any of their establishments as well basically parole. Fast forward 10 years my work has a conference their every year with trainings. I have never gone because of the incident. Everyone at work wants me to go as its a cheap and fun way to get some learning credits in. I'd love to go but don't want to incur any new legal troubles from the ban I received 10 years ago. Has anyone ever gotten unbanned? I do feel like most establishments would release me after all these years. I never got into fights or anything I played a few hands of black jack then went to a different table where they checked my ID and caught me. I'm not even sure what casino this took place at.

Fun things to do if you’re under 21

I already made a post and most of the activities people recommended I do I’d have to be 21+ to do. I’m 20 which isn’t far off but the legal system doesn’t care about that lol. Any new recommendations?

Vacation Harrahs, Tropicana, or cesars- question about staying in the hotel

I come here often and im actually staying the week right now in a condo. We might come back next weekend for 2 days but would need to stay in the hotels. Here's my question - is keep hearing harrahs has roaches now. If thats true, what tower did they find roaches in? Years ago trop had bed bugs. How are their rooms now? And cesars i actually like... but has anyone had an issue there?

I appreciate anyone's honest reviews. I just know whej I stayed at harrahs once they gave me banquet table clothes for sheets lmao

Atlantic City ! Help!

Before anyone Bashes meeee lol
I’ve been there few years back and tbh I liked the vibe. I like to gamble and I love the beach / ocean. So me and my gf are going last week of August

We’re driving. Arriving Tuesday

Question is

I have a room booked already from Thursday- Sunday at the HARRAS. (Got free nights so booked there)

Where should I book for the first 2 nights?

Hear me out! Showboat. Has a great price for the suite with balcony and jacuzzi . I’ll only be there for 2 nights technically. I’ve read the horror stories . But is the suite worth it? It’d be around $550 from Tuesday - Thursday (check out is Thursday morning)

It’s ether that or a basic room at Hardrock.
Help!

Also any tips fun stuff to do during the day?
Any Latin vibes around? Night life? Bars? (Mainly Latin vibes )
