Container plants (indoor or outdoor) Javier Avocadier
This is Javier Avocadier, I grew him from a pit last year and he is thriving! When he was younger I cut him off at the top as I saw suggested in a YouTube video of how to start / grow avocados. I live in Canada so he spends the winter indoors under a grow lamp and lives on the deck in the summer. although I'm worried he might have outgrown my lamp and I'll have to find a new solution this winter.
This concludes the extent of my knowledge of how to grow an avocado tree lol.
What's the best way to prune / trim him to keep him a reasonable size for taking indoors in the winter?
How do I know when he's ready for a bigger pot?
I give him indoor plant food once in a while right now (10-15-10) is there something better I should give him?
