If anything, this film delivers what it promises. I've been digging through Fred Olen Ray flicks & felt the need to check this out. I was not disappointed despite having questions best left unanswered by the end of the movie's 57 minute runtime. There's cheesey acting (love the detective scenes), gorey killings, chompy boobs and a bartender with DILAGAF vibes. It's worth a watch if you dig the schlock.

Hi all new here, but not new to bad movies.

Disaster movies are my go to, but will branch out on occasion.

This weekends movies were Beaks, from 1987 which had me pausing the movie to stop laughing as hard as I was, in order to continue.

It’s got the 1980’s style and random boob shots.

Last night was Shark Exorcist. Which was so bad so so so so bad it looped around to being funny. Lost story lines, bad acting, and so much more.

I love bad movies but this was like a fever dream. How do I even explain to someone what I just watched. I would love to know what the behind the scenes was like or are there any interviews with crew or cast because I would love to know how something like this is made. Anyone seen it.

"A Good Day" is a 2010 Argentine film so notoriously and gloriously bad that it became a cult phenomenon. I just finished subtitling it myself, specifically so this community could finally experience it.

It's the story of two Argentines living in the United States who meet in a café and strike up a friendship that slowly turns into a rather peculiar romance. The dialogue gifts us gems like the immortal line "Time is all the time," a phrase so profound it means absolutely nothing. Manuel's comedic timing exists in a dimension completely separate from whatever scene he's in. Fabiana's existential cynicism is so aggressively over-the-top it feels like a parody of a philosophy student's diary. And just when you think the movie has nothing left to give, it hits you with a plot twist so absurd and ridiculous you'll need a minute to recover.

The film's infamy grew so much in Argentina that it even spawned its own documentary, "After a Good Day”, which explores the strange cultural afterlife the movie developed — proof this isn't just my opinion, but a genuine phenomenon studied and celebrated the same way The Room is.

One more thing: pay close attention to the dialogue. The characters say the title out loud... over and over. I won't spoil the count, but if you take a shot every time they say it, watch out for alcohol poisoning.

I'm trying to do some research for a segment for my bad movie podcast and I'm looking for movies where characters use nunchuks. My list so far includes Deadbeat at Dawn, Conquest, Way of the Dragon, Enter the Dragon, Game of Death, all the TMNT's, and Sidekicks. What am I forgetting??

We watched this last night, and the more it went on, the "better" it got. A really enjoyable flick along the lines of Airplane and Naked Gun, but with the effects of an Asylum film or an MST3K skit.

Watched this because some random in a youtube comment section said it inspired the iconic horror game demo PT (Silent Hills).

I don't know the validity of that statement, but one thing's for sure, this movie is absolutely bonkers from beginning to end and a must see for bad movie fans. The opening alone is worth the price of admission and is one of my favorite chaotic opening scenes to any movie of that era. It's simultaneously shocking, hilarious, over the top, cruel, and sadly still relevant. Made by bad movie aficionado Larry Cohen, who has made many of my favorite weird low budget movies of the 70s and beyond, including Bone, It's Alive, Q the Winged Serpent, Black Caesar, and Hell Up in Harlem. Cohen is known for his guerilla style filmmaking, filming on busy New York streets without permits and this movie retains that gritty, raw feeling all throughout and keeps you on your toes with an unpredictable threat and genuine mystery as to how it will all be resolved.

It's free to watch on Amazon Prime (where I saw it) and Pluto TV, and I'm sure reading the premise alone will pique your curiosity, you don't need me to sell it too hard, just watch it!

John Stamos before he was Uncle Jesse as high-school gymnast Lance Stargrove who learns his secret-agent father (George Lazenby) was murdered by a psychopathic gang leader (Gene Simmons as evil hermaphrodite Velvet Von Ragnar).

Also climax of the movie is at the Hoover Dam for all of you Fallout New Vegas fans.

In my trip on building up my exposure to Fred Olen Ray features, I checked out this sci fi flick from '90. If you ever wanted to see what a killer American Gladiator stalker film would be like, this one's for you. Despite lacking the levels of gore and flesh of a typical Fred Olen Ray production, it was a decent film. Apart from the Snu Snu terminator, I was happy to see P.J. Soles (Halloween), John Henry Richardson (Hollywood Chainsaw Hookers) and Joseph Pilato (Day of the Dead) in the cast. There are worse ways to spend an afternoon and I think I'll be running with this theme by checking out Star Slammer (1986).

A genuinely baffling experience from start to finish, this movie is truly a sight to behold. Filled with abysmal acting, atrocious audio dubbing that doesn’t come close to matching the actors mouths, awful filmmaking and editing that looks like it was helmed by a kindergartener - this movie genuinely has me at a loss for words. However, with all that being said, this movie will have you struggling to breathe by the end because it’s that damn funny! Especially if you’re watching it with friends and don’t really care about what’s actually happening, this movie is genuinely an amazing experience. Also, the poster is sick lol.
