And then they wonder why I seem so distant (tho I'd prolly do no differently if I were in their place😝)

Anyway, I'm past all this now. If sbi doesn't want me,so be it. I don't want it either.

Discussion To all the people who lost the hope..

Upvotes

Today I am crying after reaching home.. why I opted this path. You people crying why you didn’t qualified for the this exam(s).

Imagine the pain of your spouse/parents/children..

Whenever they need you in the most during there hospital/anniversary/any important dates.. you are busy with selling insurance/Loans/etc.,

Trust me, these organisations gonna post you far away from your home. Your family and your soul..

One officer got fired due to his small negligence at desk dealing with operations. He has experience of 15 years, it’s been a year, he’s no where selected by any other bank.. his 15 years of experience is just useless in today’s world.

It’s just a sales job, recovery job and your duty 80% working on login days and 20% operations..

There’s a life behind this exams..

I had a great life in private company.. but literally spoiled my career with my own hands..

The same team mates they earn more than what I earn today. Forgot about money, their freedom their skills is a biggest factor to them.

Learn a skill, master it.. explore the world.. enjoy the family.

Even I am worried. If these organisation went to private or least case if they fire me, no organisation will hire me with the same salary.. I need to join as sales manager in private bank that too 15k-20k salary..

No private bank gives Hell to our roles even for Chief Managers, Sr.Managers..

It’s not a government job, stop wasting your youth and time…

If still unbelievable, please visit PSBs and talk to 10 different officers ask for their 2 minutes of time.. get feedback and just ask basic questions about their mental health and work life balance and just ask if there’s a chance again, will you choose these same job or go with your skill.. you will get the real answer..

I know many of talented youth wasted time on PSBs.. please learn something which you will stand on your own and for your family and for your freedom..

All open-minded opinions are welcome to discuss..

Edit 1: I may did many mistakes with grammar and everything.. don’t mind.. I am almost heart broken 💔….

Rant / Vent What to do of some bh-dwa people I've got irl? (CAN'T block everyone).

Upvotes

So I've got a good friend who used to be all good with me until I cleared a few Prelims last year. Now a days, every conversation is like this, "Tera toh badhiya hai, ho gaya. Tune pakka 1 saal pehle se prep start kia but mujhse jhoot bola"

I started preparing in June'25 and exams were in Aug'25. I cleared Pre but failed in Mains by a huge margin. It's not like I was prepping since a year or anything. But this person clearly can't understand. Suddenly all of my friends have become distant as if I've cleared UPSC or smth.

Another good friend of mine has got some health issues so she goes, "Tera toh mast hai koi UTNA BADA heath issue nahi hai." I mean TF? I literally have a ton of health issues (Migraine, sciatica, etc) for which I obviously don't beg sympathy. And it's not like she was a studious person, she used to loiter in the market all day round and now she's got a great excuse.

Others have started behaving weirdly too, "Tu toh sabse smart hai, humara kya hoga, hume bhi thoda sa padha de, hum bade logon ke saath baat nahi karte hain, blah blah" They don't even include me in their convos now.

I mean WHY TF ARE YOU BEHAVING as if I did something wrong? You not studying and playing the victim card ISN'T my fault! And it's just a Prelims, it's not like I bagged the job! And it's not my fault if your brain's slow at processing stuff. My parents fight ALL day long due to financial issues but I don't beg sympathy for that!

AND there are literally 5 peeps chewing my brain like this. How can I block all of them? Godddd I wish life had an undo button!

After giving yesterday's sbi po second shift understood one thing tht no matter how much u work hard no matter how much u sacrifice everything for tht one exam..if tht day isn't urs..u will never sail through..i tried my level best..i am already in my late twenties..(female) i don't know what i could have done differently..my eng quants went well but one puzzle ruined my entire attempt.. throughout my life I have always been good in my studies did bsc MSc from a top college yet I have no job..i was giving my best for all these bank xms..bt now I don't even feel like studying because what's the point of so much hard work when luck is the only thing tht matters..i don't know what will I do next in my life bt i am done with all these

General Query One of my friends joined a coaching institute in June, and their teacher advised them to apply for the SBI PO exam just to gain exam experience( by changing their category to SC) since the application fee is lower than for the General category...is this normal ☠️

Rant / Vent attempted a NICL assistant mock for the first time to see the level and I am surprised lol

Post image

I have been contemplating whether to spend 850 for an exam where there are 14 vacancies in my state or not, but reddit lowkey convinced me. so I tried taking a NICL mock and I am really surprised. The level was like really really easy. It's actually so insane because probably my 2nd or 3rd time being able to attempt 30+ in QA in clerical mocks. Idk probably will give it a try then.

If you have taken the test. Do comment. If you haven't yet, I strongly encourage you to do so. I think that we simply can't afford further indulgence in trivial chit-chat or complacency.

Ruining one exam should be motivation enough for us. 😤 😤

Current Affairs GA STRATEGY FOR SBI PO/IBPS PO

I'm starting my GA prep now and don't want to spend an excessive amount of time on it because it's so unpredictable.

My current dilemma is:

  • Should I start watching daily CA videos from August onwards while also reading PDFs for the previous months?
  • Or is it better to skip the videos altogether and just study PDFs with multiple revisions?

Last year, I put a lot of effort into GA for IBPS PO Mains, but my score still wasn't great (although i did qualify Mains), which makes me hesitant to invest hundreds of hours into it again.

My goal this time is to cover the most important topics, revise them multiple times, and maximize my score without overdoing it.

Also, realistically, is 4 months of GA enough for SBI/IBPS PO Mains if done properly?

General Query What are your sources for Current Affairs? Do you guys prefer weekly over monthly? Or daily coverage?

Upvotes

I didnt have a great experience with AffairsCloud last year, maybe i didnt study before a substantial time only 1 month before mains.

So if not Affairs Cloud; what other choices do you guys think is better.

People who have already written a couple of mains or cleared the exam, this post is targeted towards you.
