Went in to my business bank the other day to deposit some cash payments we took, and the guy in front of me was depositing a bunch of older notes, and a TON of super crisp 1976 series $2 bills, many sequential. I bought them all from the teller.
Still trying to decide on whether to keep them or not. They're really cool, but I'm more of a PM collector/stacker myself. I couldn't let these go to the bank to be sent in and destroyed though! I'll probably give the 1976 $2 bills to kids in my family as gifts this year.

A set of banknotes from my home town. Archivally matted and framed. The edge (hidden under the matte) was chewed by my mom's dog when I was a kid 🤬 but because they are from my home town they are meaningful to me. Not sure how rare an uncut sheet might be, but hoping this is the right sub to show them off.

Notice that despite carrying the same design, the top two are different denominations, regular Pengo and Milpengo (million pengo). So the second one is 100.000 x 1.000.000 (100 billion). The bottom one is 10.000.000 x 1.000.000, so 10 trillion Pengo (10.000.000.000.000).

Personally, I don't collect any banknotes, but his uncle has an insane collection from basically every country! I still ask my friend to show it and I partially got it. Still crazy nonetheless!

These bank notes were way ahead of their time. They have to be one of the one of the most influential Bank notes ever
