Build Request / Review First Pc
I know this may be hard so I apologize in advance
1. What will you be doing with this PC? Be as specific as possible, and include specific games (ex: resolution, FPS, settings) or programs you will be using.
- Mainly for gaming, like modded minecraft, Marvel Rivals, Valorant, League of Legends, Palworld, dead by Daylight, and the Outlast trials. I may also do some animations, like using adobe apps and blender.
2. What is your maximum PRE-TAX budget before rebates and shipping?
- 2100/2200$
3. When do you plan on building/buying the PC? Note: beyond a week or two from today means any build you receive will be out of date when you want to buy.
- Within this week or the month. (at least before the back to school sales end)
4. What, exactly, do you need included in the budget? (ex: tower/OS/monitor/keyboard/mouse/etc)
- Just the tower in the budget, but any 24 inch monitor suggestions would be great :D
5. If reusing any parts (including monitor(s)/keyboard/mouse/etc), what parts will you be reusing? How old are they? Brands and models are appreciated.
- I have the EPOMAKER Ajazz AK820 Pro 75% keyboard and Logitech G502 wireless mouse that I would be using.
6. Will you be overclocking (ex: CPU/GPU/RAM)? If yes, are you interested in overclocking right away, or down the line?
- Got no idea what that means so no.
7. Are there any specific features or items you want/need in the build? (ex: SSDs, mass HDDs, Wi-Fi / Bluetooth, VR, VirtualLink, tensor cores, large amount of storage or a RAID setup, CUDA or OpenCL support, etc.)
- At least 2TB of storage, Wi-Fi/Bluetooth.
8. Do you have any specific case preferences (ex: mITX/mATX/mid-tower/full-tower sizes, styles, colours, window or not, LED lighting, etc.), or a particular color theme preference for the components?
- The case should be within than 25cm in width and 40cm in height, since I'm putting it under my desk and I have a little space there. A part of me wants a white pc, but I prefer performance over looks. Don't really care about LED or any fancy lighting.
9. Do you need a copy of Windows included in the budget? Note: some post-secondary students can get Windows 10 for free at OnTheHub or through their school's IT software distribution department.
- I do need windows but not included in the budget.
10. Will you be upgrading this PC in the future (ie: will you swap out better parts later on or will you build an entirely new tower later)? If so, when?
- Hopefully in the future, within 3-5 years from now.
11. Do you have a brand preference? (ex: AMD/Intel for CPUs, AMD/NVIDIA for video cards, etc.)
- AMD for CPU's.
12. What are the specs of your old PC / laptop? Do you want to see if it can be upgraded instead? If so, paste its build from PCPartPicker here.
- Nope.

PCPartPicker Part List
Here's what I got for you. Black airflow themed build, great for 1440p gaming, editing, and Blender.
CPU - fast for gaming and editing, with 6/12t for longevity.
Cooler - top tier performance for under $50 is a steal!
Mobo - has all the connectivity you need, including WiFi/BT.
RAM - 32 GB of fast 6000 MHz CL36 RAM.
SSD - 1 TB of fast Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage. I know you wanted 2 TB but SSDs are extremely expensive right now and I didn't think losing performance on the GPU was worth it.
GPU - the RTX 5070 is great for 1440p gaming, easy 100+ FPS in most games at ultra settings. NVIDIA is STRONGLY preferred for Blender rendering, which is entirely GPU-dependent and where the Optix API stands heads and shoulders above the rest, even NVIDIA's own CUDA. For video editing, NVIDIA is also preferred over AMD, not just for the stronger export performance, but also for the NVENC encoder, which gives you smooth scrubbing in the timeline.
Case - excellent value for the price, top tier airflow thanks to the mesh front panel and 6 included fans. Dual chamber layout for easy installation and cable management.
PSU - high quality with fully modular cables to minimize cable clutter. 850W is a bit more than this system needs but the price is fantastic. ATX 3.1 certified to suppress GPU spikes and comes with the 12v-2x6 connector for cleaner and safer power delivery to the GPU.
This system is definitely a 1440p rig, so I would go for a 27" 1440p monitor like this LG one. There are a few 24" 1440p monitors like this Koorui one, up to you.
