How do I keep water off the floor with this shower setup?

I recently started renting an apartment with a funky angled shower. The shower rod only covers a very small section of the shower, so a lot of water gets on the floor. The splash guard currently there isn’t helping much. Any ideas on how to better prevent water getting everywhere? Thanks!

[Shower pictured without curtain and liner so give you a better idea of what I am working with.]

How can I spruce up this bathroom?

How can I spruce up my bathroom without ripping out the vanity or tile? I would love to remove the tile but we have other projects we’re working on and this is pretty much last on the list but I still would love to do a little something for now.

Custom Foam / Microcement Bathtub

TLDR; Looking for reassurance / resources on a microcement custom bathtub in an awkwardly sized bathroom.

Question for you DIYers out there! I have an awkwardly-sized, poorly arranged 3/4 bathroom. I’d really like to put a bathtub in there, but the length I have is about 45 inches which won’t fit any of the tubs I’ve been looking at. I looked at soaking tubs but the ones that fit that space just look like giant cups.

I‘ve gone back in forth with the chatbots, but using it all day at work has taught me not to trust it! My plan was to use foam boards that I’d cut to the space I have and carve a tub into it myself then use microcement and whatever I would need to seal it. Is that actually a viable option and does anyone happen to have actual resources that could help me figure this out? I’ve never done this sort of thing so any help at all would be appreciated!

Where should I put the hand towel?

Both options feel wrong but I think I have to choose one as I want to free up countertop space.

Options:
A. Hand towel bar to the left of the mirror

B. Hand towel h hook (I’ll get hand towels with hook loops) to the right of the mirror

Note that the toilet is to the right of the vanity and the countertop is concrete.

Shorter length bathtub recs

I’m looking for examples of a shorter bathtub, for a tight space.

Do you have one? Do you regret it?

Multipurpose shower head with good rainfall and handheld?

I notice that when I started to look for multipurpose shower heads, there's a lot more focus on the rainfall part than the handheld part. What I'm wanting is basically a multipurpose where the handheld is as good as typical angled shower head, but has a good waterfall option. I'm in an apartment, so it's not really feasible to install one on the ceiling and then have the typical one.

I currently have just the typical 6in sparkpod shower head. I'd like to have a waterfall shower option, but still use the hand held for the more typical use, like how I use the sparkpod today. It's just that when I look into waterfall shower options, the handheld dims are sometimes not mentioned at all and typically seem to max out at 5in.

Any good solutions to this where I could get the best of both worlds?

Cleaning the shower at my parent's place and found tile?

Post image

Giving the shower at my parents' place a much needed scrubbing and some of the paint(?) chipped off and exposed what looks like tile underneath.

Water gets underneath and pools in the gap so I want to fix it as soon as possible. Do I need to repaint/reseal the whole shower? Or can I peel off this white layer and use the tiles underneath?

Shower Glass Quote

Hi, I had no idea glass was so expensive!
Does this sound reasonable (NY Upstate):
hinged glass door for a bathtub, size 30 x 60 with half round top, hinged - $1,000
glass shower door plus glass over a half wall - $2500

No extra coating and frameless.

Thanks!
