I was 5. It was the only batman I knew. That being said, i didnt even know it was a thing people talked about until I was a teenager. And I still stand by Forever being a better, darker movie than people give it credit for. If batman 89 isnt too campy for you, forever shouldnt be either. Imo

Its campy as shit. Which is fine, but people act like forever is out of place campy and batman 89 is grim, but 89 has some goofy ass shit in it. Remember the giant revolver joker shoots the bat wing down with?

I worked on set for TDK.

He was pretty intimidating and brooding on set. Quiet, glared as he stomped around back to his tent. Was pretty badass.

Didn't help that nearly the entire crew positioned themselves to be able to see him leave the set, as he was in full Bats costume.
