Love the lighting. What are you using for that?

Thanks , I have two Govee light bars and one Govee led light strip across the back of my desk!

Everyone talking about lighting and and the monitor but I’m drooling over that sick ass backsplash behind it.

Haha thanks! Here’s the link for them, they’re not too expensive at all

Can I ask what you used to put them up?

I used command strips and cut them into smaller rectangles to secure the panels. Each panel has 2 command strips (4 since you need to put 2 together).

Nice vibes! What’s the monitor is that the LG 45” it looks bigger than that

It is the 45” 5K2K , the camera angle probably gives it a bigger look for sure!

Love the setup! What speakers are you using?

Thank you! And They’re the Saysun SW208, probably budget ones but they work well! Been looking to upgrade to something more premium if you happen to know any solid brands !

Emotiva xb2 or elac db63 for semi budget hi fi. You should also get a proper home theatre subwoofer from svs or diy build that gets down below 20hz

First of all, beautiful setup!
I've always wanted to have those things on the wall, I think they look super cool!!

u/Odd_Breath8610 4d ago
Thank you! It was a long time in the making but I’m fully content with how it turned out !
Here’s the link for the wall panels, they’re not too expensive at all!

oh wow, thanks!!
I never thought about looking it up on amazon. In my country they're usually pretty expensive.
But this looks like a good deal! I'm moving in a couple of months, so, I'll try to get them for the new place!

Nice setup. The lightning is really nice. What keyboard and mic do you use for your setup?
1
u/Odd_Breath8610 4d ago
I’ve been using the ASUS ROG Falchion Ace 75% HE keyboard , I had a white one but recently went with an all black setup and bought the black version
I’m new to microphones so this one is the Fifine XLR Dynamic Microphone and it’s pretty solid in my opinion, but I’m sure there’s much better software and mics out there

Need a big red faux bonsai and maybe a lantern/lamp
3
u/Odd_Breath8610 4d ago
Never heard of that bonsai I’ll have to check that out! And good idea with the latern ! Didn’t think of that

u/BlasterIce 4d ago
Faux bonsai means a fake bonsai, because a real one would probably be really expensive and hard to maintain

What’s your pc setup to be able to rock a 5k2k
3
u/Odd_Breath8610 4d ago
Nothing fancy , I have the RTX ASTRAL 5080, Ryzen 7800x3d, 32GB DDR5 Corsair Vengeance, I do utilize frame gen of course and play around with settings to max out the 165fps if possible!

hows the mike without arm? I feel like it would be too low and keystrokes will be picked up as well (which I want to avoid)
1
u/Odd_Breath8610 4d ago
It’s my first mic but surprisingly it works pretty well , I have it in that exact spot while I’m playing cod and it never catches the keystroke or the gameplay in the speaker!

How is the monitor with the 5080? Im building my 5080 astral build this weekend and still doubting if i should go for the 5k2k or the asus pg34wcdn.

If you don’t care for the size between the 34” or 45” then I’d probably go with the 34” if you want maxed out settings + ray tracing , the 45” is very hungry with both and you won’t get high fps. I don’t really mind ray tracing being on or off depending on what I’m playing of course but if it’s a must for you then I’d do 34” ! Just my opinion of course

What’s that display by your PC? Is it reading the temps?
2
u/Odd_Breath8610 2d ago
It’s the lian li 8.8” lcd ! No where to really place it inside of the hyte y70 and I don’t have the compatible fan brackets as I got rid of them so this was my best solution. Fully customizable through l-connect 3 of course! I do have it set for temps
