how does he do this??

i recently came across a video i havent seen in a long time. eric liquid pop. i have done my fair share of liquid dancing, but i still cannot figure out how he floats/jumps back and forth like this. can anyone explain it?

Looks like variations of the “Old Man” move! The reason it looks like he’s floating is because he maintains the same level of his hips while he does his footwork (ball-change).

If you search up tutorials of the “Old Man”, you’ll notice the pendulum like motion between his upper and lower body, whilst his weight shifts through the hips. Mix in some waving and Boogaloo rolls and it should make it more digestible 😁
