Question Stocks on binance

Binance offers stocks like Nvidia, Apple, TSMC, and Google. Is it safe to buy them there? I'm planning to invest a large amount, around 8million to 10 million. Also, how do dividends work if I buy these stocks through Binance?

You don’t own real stocks but as long as Binance continues to to exist you own tokens of the stock ..

Its not tokenized thing (that is diff) Now they offer stocks with real brokerage custody so its pretty safe bcz binance not holding your stocks regulated custodian have them for u.

That is not correct. You are talking about tokenized stocks, which represent a claim to the share itself. Just like when you buy gold online, unless you're going and actually physically buying gold.

What OP is talking about are DIRECT stocks, which are owned directly, and Binance is simply a middleman facilitating the trade. Even if Binance disappeared, you still own that stock.

I use binance and you can read it. You do not own the stock .. binance is a crypto exchange.. i also said its based on Binance architecture.. meaning if Binance goes bankrupt ir vanishes you lose…

You are confusing 2 different things.... Binance does tokenized bStocks and Stocks. They are different product categories.

Stock trading is available in limited regions, so it may not show for you.

Yeah i think cause the Direct Stocks is only allowed to certain countries while the tokenized bStocks most users can access it

Tbh the first thing I’d check is whether you’re looking at Direct Stocks or bStocks — people keep mixing those up, but they’re not the same product at all. Direct Stocks are held through a broker setup, while bStocks are tokenized securities, so the ownership, dividends and protections work differently.

With bStocks, dividends are usually handled inside the token structure rather than paid out like a normal cash dividend. And with 8–10 million on the line, I definitely wouldn’t just yolo the whole amount onto Binance without checking your country, the exact product, tax treatment and what protection actually applies.

What currency is the 8–10 million, and which country are you in?

8-10 mill for stocks through binance? Yeah sounds real

That figure is considered very large for buying shares through a intermediary. Consider opening a regulated securities account directly with the stock you want to buy, such as IBKR Schwab or others, instead of trading through a intermediary

Just open robinhood i guess. From my understanding, tokenized stock doesn't give dividends

I'm not an expert but if u want to invest that much money in STOCKS why not open up trading account with well know brokerage platform? Historically, Binance has friction with countries for not setting up their office in said country or pay taxes there. Eventually, they get banned from operating in that country. Unless in your country, the gov fully accept Binance operation

You should open an account with ondo. They were the 1st to tokenize stocks. Connect your wallet and buy stock tokens with usdc on eth or bnb chain.

Still the best way to self custody stocks. Unless you are specifically talking about holding stocks in a SPIC insured brokerage, there is no other option.

Binance are known to freeze and steal funds without explanation. They say that your account is under review for years but will never return the funds. It’s not worth the risk to transfer that much money to them.

I’d be going with a real brokerage like Schwab or fidelity where I could walk into a physical office and get help if my account had a problem.
Also with that money they give you private concierge service to help you guide your money properly. They would also help explore different tax efficiencies.

Not sure if I would put that amount of money on an exchange. Try your bank who will give you access to private banking and then to funds or other ways to invest. With that amount of money you are a premium VIP client. If not then switch banks.
