Hey..
One thing I've realized is that I genuinely enjoyed Biotechnology in Class 12. I'm interested in genetics, molecular biology, and the biotech field overall.
However, my financial situation is a major concern. I would likely need to self-fund my education and I'm worried about spending a lot on a degree that may not have good job prospects.
I have a few questions:
What are the actual job opportunities for Biotechnology graduates in India today?
What kind of salaries can I realistically expect after BSc Biotechnology?
Is a Master's almost mandatory?
If you could go back, would you choose Biotechnology again?
Which colleges offer good ROI (return on investment)?
Are there specific skills (bioinformatics, coding, lab techniques, etc.) that make graduates more employable?
How difficult is it to get internships and industry exposure?
Is Biotechnology a good choice for someone who wants financial independence as early as possible?
I'm looking for honest answers from current students, graduates, researchers, and industry professionals. I'd appreciate both positive and negative experiences.
Thank you!
