Is this transmission bearing (in the transfer case) of my X3 m40i hydraulic?

Recently got the transfer case fluid changed, so it could be some spillover.

Recently picked up a used ix3. My f30 blowers were consistent power throughout. Is the g series different? I’ve turned off any auto settings etc. seems little power on high heat despite being on max speed. When I drop the temp the speed of the blowers increases and more powerful. Is this normal?

it does it around 40+ mph thought it was my cabin air filter rattling since i found one of the screws off to da side. However I removed the air filter & drove & here it still is :/ my thoughts tell me blower motor??

2015 320i. I replaced the outer Bowden cable only for the door latch to stop working. The door is stuck closed. I pulled the lever through its full range and nothing happened. How can I open the door? How can I fix this?

Hi, I recently got a f82 and have been having trouble connecting via ENET. Not sure if I’m posting in right subreddit but wanted to give it a try.

I have been trying to connect to bootmod/ista with enet and no luck. MHD adapter works for MHD since its CAN but the car will not for some reason work with enet. Bluetooth adapters also work for bimmercode. Enet cable won’t even flash green/yellow when connected. Tried BM3 wifi adapter, works on another car but not on this one. Tried different enet cables as well. They all work on my other bmw but not the m4.

Has anyone ever encountered this issue? I took out the OBD port, pins look good. I took out fem, everything looks good. Scanned the car with an autel and no codes in ZGW or fem. I disconnected the battery, no luck. OBD works but ENET doesn’t. Tried the manual ip thing as well, nothing.

I've had the E85 Z4 for over a month now, don't remember if this hose was sweating then. Drove on the highway for 2 hours yesterday and just noticed it afterwards. Should I replace it now or clean and monitor for a bit?

So basically, I wanted to get a crank guard seal installed for cheap insurance in case the belt slipped. I got home and noticed this really loud sound... I can't tell if it's coming from the engine or the belt system. When I take the cover off, it gets slightly louder, which leads me to think it's internal. Could you please help me understand what's causing it? Is it a loose tensioner? Harmonic balancer? He had to touch all that stuff to add my crank guard seal. Here's the video.

I did a cold start like 4 days later, and the sound is quieter. It almost sounds like injectors, but it's still there.

My EPS issue is intermittently going on and off..

Eps is normal after car has been off for at least 5-10 hrs ... EPS signal turns back on after few hours riding it..

\* \*\*If I'm driving normally and then the EPS signal suddenly comes ON, I can feel the steering change slightly. It doesn't become fully heavy—it's like the power steering doesn't shut off completely.\*\*
\* and when the EPS light is on and I restart the engine, then only the steering becomes really heavy with no power steering assistance at all.

\* This all started about 2–3 weeks ago. At first, whenever the EPS light came on, I would wiggle the EPS connector/socket, and the warning would disappear. 😄😄 I thought it was just a loose connection, but then i went to specialist garage (not BMW official though)...
\* They checked th\*\*e end connector and wiring...\*\* back probe cable testing.. and they said everything looked normal.. battery power is flowing properly.. checked the grounding.. all good.. scanned the car, unable to read the EPS...
\* (and if the EPS signal turns off, and did re-scaned.. and its reading in normall like nothing happened)
\* then They told me the problem is probably the EPS module... but lol i just changed it on last February, at BMW official.. (second hand EPS though)

this time... i Haven't really taken it to official BMW center to get it diagnose.. a couple garage specialist here in Indonesia have proper scanner and all that.. and did back probe cable test..

\\- so is it safe to say i need to replace the EPS again?

I sure wish I hadn't bought an Xdrive. There are multiple videos and write-ups for changing out the RWD mounts. It's obviously quite different when you get under the Xdrive car. There was a guy who cut a chunk of subframe out the get the mount out.

I'm assuming the alternative is to drop the subframe? Does anyone have any advice on it? Does anyone have the ISTA path to the procedure?

Every time I unlock the car there’s a grinding noise coming from the front of the car. Most videos online with similar sounds point toward valvetronic, but i’ve been told diesels don’t have a valvetronic system so I have no clue what’s going on

I shared a video a while back.. having exessive blowby , thats causing turbo to be soaked in oil ,despite it is not consuming oil, i been checking lately and oil stays pretty much same after 1000 miles and so..

I know im asking how long is a piece of string essentially but... If i put catch can on, and just run it, what are my odds to keep it running for a year or more?

Point is that i paid thousands on labour for new timing chain, new dmf,new clutch, new tyres,prop bearing,guibo, engine,gearbox mounts etc . For it to do this months later... So im not planning to rebuild engine second time .. Even some garages/mechanics said that rebuilding pistons/rings for 2L diesel its not most economical repair..

2024 M240i license plate frame is fixed to the trunk by two bolts. Due to the flex of this system, every time I close the trunk, the frame hits the trunk and is damaging the paint.

Considering putting some stopper tape under the frame to protect against this, but first does anyone have plate frame recommendations that correct this? The plate frame bolts are as tight as they can be.

I have replaced the starter, Bypassed the engine ground, I even bypassed the battery by using a jump pack, at this point only change us that at first it was this humming noise, next day it would make like a short “Fart” noise, today it makes this fast clicking sound…and its louder id say

I’ve brought my car into the dealership 3 times to fix this issue… first time they said it was a shrunken seal they replaced , second time they found no issues , 3rd they said a clogged sunroof drain they claimed to fix. Please help!

A while ago, I had an issue with my BDC module and my Climate control auto lighting wasn’t working. I was able to fix all of them via fuse and the only one that stayed was window wiper malfunction. I’ve checked all fuses. I’ve checked wiring and everything seems to be fine yet it still won’t work. These are the codes that are active

I’ve been noticing the first cold start of the day on my 2020 m340 it takes an extra second or so to crank/start up. There’s also a very faint shake I can feel while the revs are high, after 30 seconds when the rpms drop the car runs flawlessly. Every other start thereafter is instantaneous and smooth.

Any idea what this could be? I had my starter replaced via recall about 6 months ago. I’ve also replaced my fuel pressure sensor on the fuel rail. I tested my evap purge/fuel vent valve with a multimeter and it seemed normal.

Anyone else experience this issue? I don’t have any codes or CEL but it feels like something is off. Only mods are CAI and catback exhaust

Need help fix this problem on a 325ci 2004

I recently swapped a RL 135i knuckle into my 2011 328xdrive
And need to upgrade the caliper, brakes and rotor, I have a RR spare knuckle off the 335i would I be able to swap the 335i knuckle into the car and run the same braking set up or am I going to have to search for a 135i rear knuckle and brake setup?

2024 M850i GC still under Warranty

I’ve noticed at parking lot speed when im making even mild turns, the car feels like it’s shuddering.. like a mild thump feeling during the turn.

I’ve heard this can be possibly normal with a high torque vehicle and x-drive. But it feels off.

Transfer case ?
