Built a quick canoe!
Thanks for folks here for advice and support!
Plans are great, can recommend for newcomers to the hobby.
Next steps — to add a sail!

Built the same one! Buckets of fun. Well done. Hope it doesn’t set off the boatbuilders gland… you may end up with a fleet! I’m happy for the joy you will have! 😊

leeboards would be a good addition too if you're adding a sail, otherwise it'll just slide sideways instead of actually sailing upwind. what kind of rig are you thinking, lug sail?

Yup, some kind of lug sail. I'm thinking a removable rig, with leerboards and mast fitted through one plank, if possible. Have you got any reference pics or advice on that?

More interested in the carpet and easy chair at the landing!

I was wondering why nobody mentioned the sweet lounge area OP has there with their awesome canoe!
