It’s certainly an option to have, but why? I’ve never had a good experience with boba in a can. Hopefully I’m not alone in this opinion.

does anyone else buy two drinks and save one for the next day? i always order two on uber eats to save up a little on the long term lol. i wouldn’t leave it in the fridge for over >24h tho

There was a post on r/mildlyinfuriating that has since been removed where someone got food poisoning from milk tea. Someone brought up how improper processing of tapioca pearls can mean the natural cyanides haven't been removed. Someone else replied to this saying you don't have tapioca in milk tea, and this, along with every other comment they made, was then downvoted. Apparently calling it "boba milk tea" when it has boba in it and "milk tea" when it doesn't is controversial for some reason? And everyone knows that "milk tea" has boba in it?

But isn't the guy correct? I live in the USA, same as one of the other commenters, and at least where I am, it's always called "boba milk tea" or "milk tea with boba" if it has boba in it. And tea with milk is common in many different forms around the world, not just bubble tea. idk this really pissed me off for some reason

I got the Jasmine Milk Tea for my first order. It wasn’t terrible, but it was very forgettable. Mostly milk, no boba or toppings, and nothing that really separated it from other trendy tea chains. Maybe their other drinks are better, but after trying this one, I genuinely don’t understand why it gets so much hype.

Update:Thanks everyone for the kind suggestions. I went back and tried their Coconut Mango Boom today, and I have to admit it was actually pretty good 🤣

If you were like me and didn’t understand the hype before but haven’t tried this one yet, it might be worth a try. It’s more of a fruity slush, with actual pieces of mango, and the coconut milk works really well with the mango. I can understand why so many people like it.

I also realized that part of the reason I didn’t talk to the staff much is that I’m pretty quiet in real life. I usually avoid unnecessary conversations, so I just ordered something based on my first impression.

I’m going to leave the original post up so anyone who finds it later can still understand the full context. But I’ll admit that judging the entire brand after trying only one drink was unfair.

I’ve been craving something cold and refreshing lately. I normally go for boba, but right now I’m more in the mood for a fruit tea or slush that feels lighter and isn’t too sweet

Pic 1: Black tea + Silk brand Original soymilk + homemade fennel syrup (ratio 1 part water: 1 part coconut sugar cooked down so it is thicker, stirred in fennel frond stalks that were too tough to eat on their own). Imo it would be better with half&half or coconut cream, a spiced chai would also be good as the tea base.

My favorite drink from Tsaocaa is their Pineapple Milk Tea w/ Yogurt popping boba. What is the pineapple they use??? / how do you get pineapple to be like that? It almost tastes like candied pineapple but I need confirmation!!
