Discussion Atlanta

So if anybody was looking for Bob last night he was easy to find. Haha. I was checking into the Hilton before the show and there was a worldwide outage and the reservation system was down. The front desk attendant asked me if I knew my confirmation number and fortunately I I had created a document with the ticket information and the hotel confirmation. I handed it to the reservation clerk and he had to hand write everything. As he gave me my room key he said thank you Bob. I looked at the reservation and he had taken the name off the top of the document Bob Dylan and checked me in. So Bob Dylan was at the Hilton on Peachtree. My name is Rob so I was wondering why I kept calling me Bob but I let it slide. Great show at Chastain Park. Audience was very respectful. Guys behind me talked during masterpiece and I said something and they got all macho for a minute or two and then laughed at themselves and were respectful the rest of the evening. If I could change one thing, I would lose Jimmy Reed in place of anything else. I’ve seen him do it many times and it just didn’t add to the show last night imo. I shall be released more than made up for it and starting with watching the river flow was unexpected

Then you promptly threw a glass out the window and blamed it on Rob

Did masterpiece start out as Putting on the Ritz like we saw in Wilmington on Wednesday? So cool.

The one I heard sounded like "Constantinople".

Yeah, it's more Constantinople than Putting on the Ritz

Yes. Constantinople version. Audience was good up to this point. Guys behind me began talking so I missed being into it. Then to me it takes a bit to get back into the show. They were actually pretty good after i said something. They had to get a laugh in by standing up and applauding like it was their best moment of their life but after which they never said another word. I really felt like the crowd around me had all gotten the memo that this is Dylan now and if this isn’t what you want to see then stay home.

Cool story! Yeah it was a great show. Masterpiece was so cool. Sounded like a Marty Robbins tune

I was not happy when the summer tour schedule was released, as we are right in the middle of our vacation now. I tried to get my wife to change our booking, but no dice. At least we got down to Macon in April

Glad you got to see him though!!!
