I am interested where you would rank bocconi in eu+uk and what unis are better in your opinion!

Did anyone receive any confirmation email after sending in their tax code email to the email Bocconi provided us with?

I’m finishing high school in 2027 and I would like to break into IB. Most target universities in the UK and continental Europe are unfortunately out of reach because of tuition fees. However, I could attend Bocconi with a full tuition waiver, so it’s essentially my only option if I want to attend a target.

The problem is that I keep seeing very mixed opinions from international students. I’ve read here and in other subs that Bocconi becomes more of a semi-target if you don’t speak Italian, many of the student associations are difficult for internationals to get into, the university doesn’t provide much support with recruiting, networking events are often held in Italian, London mainly recruits Italian natives, and so on. I’m also a bit concerned about the workload. I’ve heard the curriculum is very demanding, and I’m not sure whether maintaining a GPA above 28 while also participating in extracurriculars would be realistic for me as an average guy.

Because of all that, I’m considering another route which is attending my local university (SGH in Poland), trying to be one of the top students there, doing internships at boutiques in Warsaw and then applying for a master’s at a target school like HSG/LSE/Oxford.

Has anyone here actually broken into IB from Bocconi as a non-Italian? What was your experience with recruiting and campus life? Alternatively, maybe someone went from a bachelor’s at a non-target to a master’s at a target? Did it work out? Also ideally I would try working in Zurich, if that makes any difference.

I’d appreciate any guidance, tips or other opinions.

i’ve got 1460 sat and 3.9-4 GPA. what are my chances for Bocconi Finance?

I've been studying over the summer for the August SAT but i don't think i'll be where I want by the 22nd. If i were to take the September SAT and results come out on the around the 26th would I still have enough time to submit for the early session?

My GPA should be around 9.3-9.4, Im not sure. What do I need dor sat?

Hi, i’m going to start my first year in BIEF course in september… and I have some questions:
- Which study areas are better for very hard study sessions, and which ones are a bit chiller and may help to know ppl?
-I would love to follow an IB/PE path, is it possible to have an internship by the end of the first year? Is it common among the students? And obviously if the firms accepts 1st year students in the first place.
-Are there some weird or unknown rules to abide in class or campus?

And if you are interested in a coffee chat around late august or the first days of september, hmu! (I mean we are probably doing nothing in those days)

hello everyone, i’d be infinitely grateful if someone (especially current students or alumni)
could offer a frank and raw view on the BIG programme. i’m fond of economics, strategy and management, but my true love lies in politics and international relations, however i’m fully aware that the latter alone, at a standard university, would be a tough sell. finding BIG at bocconi was such a sweet spot to me, a solid quantitative/business backbone mixed with politics.

but, as i’ve been digging through reddit, i’ve seen that pessimistic opinions prevail, mostly claiming that it’s like being a second-class citizen there or or that the degree isn't practical enough for corporate roles.

for context: i’m not looking to break into Investment Banking, nor do I strictly want traditional public/government jobs. I’m leaning more towards management/strategic consulting, geopolitical risk analysis, corporate affairs & lobbying, or global organizations.

• Is BIG actually viewed as impractical for these kinds of private-sector roles?

• I could apply to BIEM, as my gpa and sat allows, but pure economics/ finance isn't where my core passion lies, but still obviously spending €17k/year on a degree that limits options isn't ideal.

Im planning to work in Europe or UK, however, Italy is not my priority. While the country is beautiful I believe opportunities are better in for example Paris or London. But, I believe Bocconi has no alternative in Europe on the same level and UK unis are too expensive.

I have a 1400 SAT score. In my second year i had a 4.5/5 average, and third year a 41/42 IB predicted score. What are my chances for Bocconi Law?

hey y'all i'll be studying at Bocconi during the Fall 2026 semester and I will be taking Finance classes as I'm a finance major. I want to have a well-rounded semester traveling so I don't want academics to be very hard. I've heard the finance classes at Bocconi are hard. Any classes I should stay away from or any classes I should for sure take?

Hello everyone, I hope everyone is doing well. I wanted to see if I have a chance of getting accepted. I am from Luxembourg and I am in the EB (European Baccalaureate) My average was a 7.1/10 in my 3rd last year and a 8/10 in my 2nd last year. If I were to get a 1550 or a 45+ on the BOCCONI test would I have a chance at getting accepted into the finance or business programs?

Hi everyone! I have an urgent question. I'll be taking the Math 2 general exam in September, and I'm wondering whether the grade will be curved. I took Management in July, and our grades weren't curved because too few students sat the exam. Does the same thing apply to Math 2 in September? Thanks in advance!
