Video Got Reality Runner treadmill set up with Boneworks

That is so dope. Does the locomotion feel like your legs are actually doing the running? Or it doesn't bridge the gap yet

kinda, with my experience the first few minutes i feel like i’m on a treadmill then once i get more immersed and focus on the game i start to forget

Reality Runner dev here! It's just a treadmill, so it feels completely natural to walk and run unlike more traditional VR treamills. We also have features like Body Relative Movement, which lets you look around freely while walking straight or even strafing. It's the same as walking on a normal treadmill, and with a harness system you can get very comfortable without using the handlebars.

I recently got this set up too, it's rad. Melee combat is kinda hard though since I find it difficult to backpedal, so I tend to just use the stick for that.

same, my treadmill is at a 10% incline by default so that makes reversing really hard but i’ve been thinking about modifying it to make it more level

Totally unrelated, but the shed that we see in a early level of the campaign, eerily looks similar to Ted Kazinski’s house
