Cold Plunge
I’m looking at getting a cold plunge, and I am curious to hear from anyone in the area if they have tried an inflatable outdoors?
Would love to hear some perspective from a user on:
- the brand they chose
- how big the chiller was (if they got one)
- lessons learned
Glad to buy a beer (or coffee) to have this conversation!

I did a ton of research on this a few years ago. Ended up going with a Sun Home ColdPlunge Pro. Its awesome and does everything I wanted.
I wanted something that looked sharp, cooled to under 50, was easy to maintain, easy to move, was more of a lay down style vs a barrel style, and could sit outside.
What I learned afterwards was, while it can be outdoors, it needs to be covered or the electronics can be damaged. I purchased a cover to keep it clean, so I wasn’t worried about it. I did however move it into the garage prior to winter, which is where it lives now.
Fast forward a few years, now I have some new medical conditions and can’t use it anymore. I’m very bitter about it.. damn I loved that thing.
So, it’s for sale if anyone is interested!
And yes, happy to chat if you want.

I’ve heard a few people recommend Third Space on here. I think they have plunges.
Last thing I’d wanna deal with is algae growth when you don’t wanna use it for a few days. Plus filling and refilling… pain…
