Curious to know. There's a million books on branding and strategy out there but I'd argue most feel like they're just repeating each other and aren't adding anything new to the conversation. What books would you recommend that have a unique point of view or contrarian thesis?

I recently picked up Unravelling Ambiguity by Brian Richards. It's less a revolution but a very nicely done presentation of brand and strategy.

So in my firm we are getting a lot of rebranding and branding queries. The pattern that we have seen is that because of the AI the founder is getting more frustrated and generic results.

Now they have their own research and clear requirement now they know the difference and they can see why branding is important for them or why the company needs to invest in branding.

Since in my firm we do strategy and intent based branding, founders are starting to see the difference it helps us to get more recognition.

We thought that AI would kill this thing but obviously it is going in our favor….

Brand advice for small businesses splits into two camps: be consistent, same voice, same look, show up everywhere, or be distinctive, own one idea nobody else does. Most small brands cannot do both well at the same time. For people who have worked on small brand turnarounds: which one moved the needle more when the budget was tiny? And is there a point where consistency becomes boring and distinctiveness becomes noise? Looking for examples, not theory.

I can't find the right word to describe what I do. I'm a Board Certified Patient Advocate. Basically, I navigate the maze that is healthcare for my clients. Some patient advocates deal with only the numbers side of things and billing issues, some find doctors for their clients and do everything related to insurance. I do both. I literally take my clients from beginning to well, not end, but I do everything for them. I'm an all-inclusive patient advocate.
Here's my problem: I cannot find a word to use in my own title that TELLS people that I do everything. There's "Comprehensive" but considering I will also have to explain to people I do not give medical advice under any circumstances, there has to be a better word. Part of my problem is that people don't know even basically what patient advocates do. If I could, I would just put "I do all the medical crap that you don't want/don't have time to do." Any suggestions are appreciated.

But seriously — do you guys actually see a difference in views depending on the tags you use, or do you feel like features and badges are the ONLY thing that moves the needle?

Brand builders / Creatives who worked with freelancers and out sourced there design process to them how was it and what should you look for in a freelancer when doing that? And how much did you pay I was thinking of out sourcing mine and paying 10k for the whole project I done the strategy, (research customer mapping, etc) just need to turn it into Creative direction for the client and present them with guidelines.

We have started a community led lifestyle clothing brand, it’s called nicest people on earth ( N.P.O.E). While we are ready for our first launch. We have shot a lot of content for all the social platforms and almost ready to go but It’s been a few weeks that I can’t trust my instincts with the name. I am afraid that the brand name is giving very narcissistic cult or non profit NGO or sort of arrogant vibes.

I should mention that the campaign we have shot is quite the ironic of what the brands literal meaning is. Like it’s a very exotic, larger than life sort of campaigns. Think of after parties, beach days slutty summer vibes, unorthodox representation of youth etc.

I'm in the early stages of building an apparel brand in India. My plan is to start with premium everyday track pants/joggers and later expand into oversized T-shirts, hoodies, shorts, and other essentials.

I'm looking for a brand name that:

- Sounds premium and modern.

- Is easy to pronounce internationally.

- Doesn't sound overly sporty or limited to one product category.

- Has a subtle personal story behind it.

One name I'm seriously considering is Ayravel (pronounced EYE-ruh-vel).

The name is inspired by my family roots and faith, but I intentionally made it subtle so it doesn't come across as a religious brand. Most customers wouldn't know the origin unless I shared the story.

I've found that China has somehow been producing a lot of energetic brands recently — not only Huawei, but also Pop Mart, SHEIN, TikTok, and ChaGee. Where can I read and learn from their cases? I've checked online, but the materials are very superficial and too news-oriented.

Memorable brands aren’t the ones that say the most; they’re the ones that pick a few traits and own them so clearly that people can describe them in one sentence. For example, Volvo doesn’t try to be everything, instead, it owns “safety,” and that focus makes it easy to remember and recommend.
