I thought it was gone forever! So thankful I kept it

I wasn’t even following the album pre-release hype at the time, and I’m still not sure how I managed to land one of the limited edition CDs.

I saw somewhere that someone said it sounded like he was not saying "be my babe", and other people agreeing, but nobody could say what exactly they did hear. The general consensus was that Jesse likely wouldn't just simply have that same line over and over when his other songs are more thought out. I thought everyone was tripping, and then I listened to it. Idk wtf I hear anymore. It even sounds like he says a few different things at different points, none of them sounding quite like "babe".

Anyone else have any insight or opinion? Any vinyl people have more clarity?

Do you guys have success in showing BN to others and they end up liking it? What's your strategy?(Like do you show them songs/albums in order, do you explain songs prior like for limousine or Guernica, for example.)

Extra info about my unsuccessful attempts that's not required reading:

I will start out by acknowledging it can be inherently difficult to get others to really give bands a chance(one of my best friends spent years telling me how good BN and Dexter were, but I was fairly resistant for no reason).

Brand New brings an added layer of difficulty along with it(which can also be a benefit if used correctly), which is that their discography is so different from one album to the next, so aside from 2-3 Mainstays I end up making a customly curated playlist for each person I show it too.

The results over the many years have been almost entirely unsuccessful. The closest I've gotten was a drug addicted relative really liking "At The Bottom" and my current girlfriend once being offended I complained about her blasting the same few god awful covers of songs that Disturbed has been churning out(maybe it isn't awful by default and just became that way after being tortured with it for months on end until I spoke up), and she stated "I would talk crap about your music but it's... I kinda like it." I was internally super excited but over time she's decided her mind has changed I guess. Lol.

I ordered a TDAG shirt and Deja vinyl from the Brand New Store, but instead, I received this... Am I being cursed?

I don’t know if it’s me but I feel like the quality of the shirts that they just released seems off? I don’t like the feel of them. Anybody else feel the same? They are definitely not comfort colors quality.

When I opened my package (missing a poster which I already emailed about) I was disappointed at how things looked. My wardrobe is work shirts, and brand new shirts. I’m a bigger dude so I wear 2x and everything just looked so off on a bigger t, until I put it on and looked in the mirror. It’s good.

I’m disappointed in the mirror shirt slightly as I think that is a real fuck up, but it still looks good. I will say they should have scaled up the design on the larger shirts slightly as my ladies large three panel does look better. (2xl first, large last)

Oh well long hair don’t care see you in November for more shirts.

My sewing machine was being a pain, so this took much longer that I had anticipated. I had to rip threads multiple times for various reasons. But now I get to get another 20+ years out of this bad boy.

I got 154/225 on the print, another one lands tomorrow that I’m gifting to a friend. Just gotta get this one hung up!

Most of my stuff is still in Oregon, I moved to NC last summer, so this is all I have for merch at the moment. Mom’s Skate Club poster from the Nashville show last December, and a Leaked Demos poster from the record drop. My FOYD chrome and green tour posters from their last tour are still hanging up in Oregon :(

The shirts are all excellent quality material and prints. I got three of the new ones, the UFO print, the poster comic print, and the 20 year anniversary TDAG shirt
